Demand for College Planning Services Grows as Parents Seek the Best Schools at the Best Price
Class 101, the rapidly growing college planning franchise that has helped thousands of families save money on college, continues to expand nationwide, with the newest franchisees setting up shop in Louisiana, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Class 101 helps high school students excel at the college preparation process. Our franchisees enjoy helping young people navigate the time-consuming and confusing college admissions process, as well as qualify for more scholarship and grant money than their peers. We offer an effective business model, which is a great alternative to an educational or tutoring franchise, with a low initial investment ranging from $40,400 to $57,600.
“We are ramping up quickly for explosive expansion over the next few years and these new openings are just the beginning,” says Tom Pabin, CEO and founder of Class 101. “As more and more entrepreneurs with a passion for helping young people find the right college at the right price find out about our business opportunity, we’ll continue to build our network of franchisees.”
The expansion in 2016 includes a new franchisee to the growing Nashville, Tennessee, market. Hollie Holt opened her franchise in September. Hollie, a mother of four, is excited to help students discover their hopes and dreams for college, while also helping parents find schools fitting their budget. She understands the overwhelming and lengthy task of preparing a child for the rigors of applying to, and attending, college.
We are also rapidly expanding in North Carolina with two new locations. Cathy Kitchens is our newest franchisee in Charlotte and husband and wife franchisee team Yaw Chang and Li-Shing Wang opened their franchise in Wilmington. We have also added Louisiana to the map, with Adrienne Jordan-LeBean and Jason Williams overseeing the Lafayette office.
Class 101 Is a Highly-Rewarding, Low-Investment Business Opportunity
One-on-one consulting with students is the bread-and-butter of our easy to run business model. With the average sale for a Class 101 franchisee at $2,800 and an impressive average close rate of 90% nationwide, Class 101 is a low-overhead business model with the potential for high revenue from day one. Several of our franchisees have surpassed the $100,000 revenue mark in their first or second year. The average gross revenue for our top 5 franchises in 2015, according to our most recent FDD, was $137,000.
Class 101 offers entrepreneur-minded individuals the opportunity to run a thriving business that makes a difference in the lives of college-bound kids. Our franchisees also enjoy networking in their communities with local educators and families.
Latest Franchise Openings Are Just the Beginning
In addition to these recent franchise openings, Class 101 just celebrated the grand opening of our new Lexington, Kentucky, headquarters which offers additional home office support to our growing network of franchisees. We are targeting a projected 50 new locations opening over the next two years and recently announced a goal of 125 franchises and $12 million in sales by the end of 2019 at our annual convention.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time to join our growing family of franchisees. The momentum is building as more and more families in communities nationwide learn about the valuable services we provide and the savings we help them secure when sending their kids to college,” Tom says. “We make a long-lasting impact on thousands of students with a positive ripple effect that extends beyond their years on campus.”
